For Those NOT in the Know:  This is NOT a race. Your instructions will lead you round a well planned road route in your own car. At certain points along the route, there will be clues to spot and work out.  You may even be required to get out, run around (yes, run around) and look at particular monuments or signs. Just to add to the fun, you will have extra duties along the way which may be to gather certain items we know are easy to obtain (and some not so easy).  All of which gain you extra points when you arrive back safely and your papers are marked.

Proceeds will be used for our twinned community in Belarus to help them to sustain their Jewish Community Centre, to send humanitarian aid and to develop our cultural links between our two communities.

BIG BAGEL BRUNCH

When: Sunday 13th June 2010 Anytime between 10.00am and 1.00pm

What’s it for? Working together with World Jewish Relief we will be raising money to benefit FRS’ twinned community of Polotsk in Belarus. Attractions: Bagels, bagels, bagels with a choice of fab fillings, home baked cakes and cookies, live music, the Sunday papers and lively debate on England’s performance. The catch: There is no catch, but we will be asking you for a minimum donation of £5.00 per person, it’s for a great cause, the money we raise really helps to change lives. Donations for Vitebsk

We are desperately looking for donations of clothes (for all ages), toys (no batteries or any that require understanding English), stationery and household items (linen, towels, curtains, bedding, sheets, pots, pans, cutlery etc). We are also looking for DVDs of children's cartoons and any that have a Jewish theme.
