FRSy Hadracha Course:

The FRSy Hadracha Course is open to all FRS members in Years 9 + 10.
Over the course we will cover the skills and knowledge that will enable you to lead at FRSy events in the future. This is the beginning of a massively beautiful journey of leadership, personal development and large amounts of dressing-up.
Sessions are scheduled every Sunday at 7-9pm from Nov 1st- Dec 13th.
Each Sunday we will tackle a different area of hadracha, using a different technique and medium: expect film, discussion, music and drama. The course is designed to provide you with the chance to learn how to become a youth leader through engaging and fun activities.
There will also be a residential weekend trip for participants of the course which will be held in Spring 2010: details to follow…
The course will cost £25; please bring this, along with the form below, to the first session on Sunday Nov 1st. If you would like to join the course after this date please contact me asap!

The Hadracha Course Shabbaton: Friday April 23rd 6.30pm – Saturday 24th 10.30am
This is a Shabbaton sleepover at FRS exclusively for Hadracha Course participants- including fun, films and possibly some fruit. It’s the next step on the course and a great opportunity to start taking on more responsibility for some of the programs run for young people at FRS.
Programs like….
The First Ever FRS ‘Day of Scheme’ Fundraiser! Sunday, April 25th, 12.45 – 6pm
For those in Year 9 and 10…
The plan is to run a fun fun day of scheme for younger children at FRS and to raise money for Vitebsk Community Projects in our twin community in Belarus.
We would love for you to be involved in running and planning the day- a great chance to be a madrich/a and put all the theory into practice.
Hadracha Graduation BBQ! Sunday, July 4th 6.30 – 9.30pm
For some of you it’s the end of the road and the start of being a fully-fledged leader at FRS (where you can start to run clubs, day schemes, trips and summer schemes), for others this marks the half way point of the course.
In recognition we will have a graduation ceremony (very solemn…) and a BBQ in the hopefully warm July weather.
Come and claim your graduation gifts….
