Our Vision
- to create ONE community where children know everybody in their year group
- to STRENGTHEN children's Jewish Identity
- to ENGENDER children’s commitment to their Jewish education
Our Kochavim (Stars) programme aims to provide a mixture of formal and informal education for ALL children, whatever school they attend - be it Jewish or non-Jewish. Kochavim will build on children’s life skills as well as their knowledge of Judaism and Hebrew.
This is not a religion school. Children will be able to opt to learn Hebrew alongside cookery classes and drama clubs. We are redefining the boundaries of Jewish education so that your children will feel at home in their synagogue whilst picking up life skills, having fun and learning about their religion. They won’t know when they should be learning and when they should be having fun they will just know that FRS is where they want to be. If you are already paying for after school activities such as football or dance, think about putting their sense of community into that activity and move their class to FRS.
