Strawberry Picking
4th July was a beautiful day and the children at FRS Kindergarten, their teachers and some of the parents all went to Parkside Farm to pick strawberries.
The children learnt how the strawberries grow from the ground, hiding under their leaves. They were shown to only pick the juicy red ones, as the green ones were not ready yet.
After all that hard work ice-lollies was the order all round!
