Shavuot 

The children learnt how Moses went up Mount Sinai to receive the 10 commandments from God. Rabbi Miriam told the children the special story how with every step that Moses took as he came down the mountain a special flower grew on the mountain, even though there was no water near to the mountain to help flowers to grow.

The children made up their very own special classroom rules for us to follow and we were pleased that many Mummies came to help the children to make their special flower garlands for Shavuot.

Rabbi Miriam showed the children the 10 commandments in the Torah scroll and we sang our Shavuot songs together.
