Celebrations at the kindergarten included the younger children making their very own Chanukiot out of clay and our older children sawing and sanding their own pieces of wood and banging in nails to produce their own special wooden Chanukiot. The Chicks class used an interactive Chanukiah to help them with their counting and recognising numerals.

Celebrations as always included special cooking activities with children making yummy biscuits, donuts and the swans children making their own latkas. The children can be seen in the pictures peeling and grating their potatoes and onions.

We sang our Chanukah songs to parents and grandparents, this was attended by Rabbi Miriam. Two of our children can be seen helping Rabbi Miriam to light the candles.
The older children went to visit Springdene Residential Home and the Cygnets sang songs at Lady Sarah Cohen House.
