Autumn Walk

During our Autumn week topic we walked to the park to collect items for our interest table and also to explore the outdoor environment.

The children went as 'explorers' trying to collect evidence that Autumn was really here!

The exploration was successful as the children returned armed with Autumnal items including: brown, red, yellow and orange leaves, conkers, acorns and pine cones. When we got back to nursery  the children used the leaves they had collected to make a collage and had great fun making leaf hand prints in Authumn colours
