As part of our Rosh Hashana celebrations this year we decided to make honey cake but first we needed to learn how honey was made.

Duncan the bee keeper visited our nursery to explain how honey was made.
He showed us the honeycomb and his bees, along with his special protective clothing which we were able to try on.

Rabbi Miriam joined us for a special Shabbat celebration and showed us how to blow the Shofar. The honey cake was a great success!
