In addition to the rabbi team and paid administration team in the FRS Office, FRS benefits hugely from the its many members who voluntarily bring their expertise and experience to help direct and support the life of the community.

Overall management of the synagogue is conducted by the FRS Council as the Board of Trustees.

Council currently comprises two joint Chairs with a committee of Council members. Each member liaises closely with FRS committees responsible for such key areas such as Ritual, Youth and Education, Community Support or leads on a specific project, e.g. Vision for FRS.

FRS members can nominate Council members at the Annual General Meeting, held in March.
